About this Talk

  • Scoliosis treatment
  • Walking ability and regaining walking if lost
  • Core training
  • Hip subluxation
  • Fear of movement
  • Remote rehabilitation\Tele medicine
  • Other areas where physiotherapy can assist your child

Reversal of Rett syndrome was found possible in the mouse model. Moreover, it was established in this syndrome that intensive intervention programs can improve function, ambulatory abilities, and physical fitness, longevity. Therefore, in order to avoid or delay the fourth stage of Rett syndrome and keep individuals at their best medical state, an intensive daily intervention program must be applied for this group of clients.

In his talk Meir will suggest that intensive programs executed on a daily basis are capable of improving function, physical fitness, outcome of scoliosis in children with Rett syndrome, and much more. He will also suggest that such intensified programs can be executed by non-professional personnel such as parents and service providers, under the supervision of a qualified physical therapist.
