About this speaker

Dr. Pam Diener is a Professor of gross anatomy and neuroscience at Georgetown University Medical School, the Curriculum Developer and Academic Director of the three-week Neuroscience summer program at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies and an occupational therapist with a consulting and direct-treatment clinical practice.

Dr. Diener thinks critically about habilitation and recovery of function following congenital and acquired neurologic injuries and neurologic disorders. She is able to quickly implement her research findings into clinical practice to improve the quality of life of each of her clients.

Dr. Diener completed her BS in Occupational Therapy at Tufts University, her MS in Applied Anatomy and Physiology at Boston University, and her PhD in Neuroscience at Georgetown University. She has served on the Board of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation.
